About The Asphalt Position
Asphalt workers help prepare, repair, install, compact, and finish asphalt surfaces for residential and commercial projects throughout the Green Bay area. This role may include driveway paving, parking lot paving, pavement repair, site preparation, grading support, shoveling, luting, wacking, rolling, cleanup, and equipment support. This is a hands-on construction position for someone who is comfortable working outdoors, staying active, and working as part of a dependable crew.
Key Responsibilities:
Help prepare driveways, parking lots, and surfaces for asphalt paving
Operate asphalt paver, skid steer, roller, and wacker
Shovel, lute, level, and finish asphalt material as needed
Help clean, load, unload, and organize tools and equipment
Work safely around hot asphalt, trucks, rollers, skid steers, and heavy equipment on active job sites
Help with cleanup so each project is left neat and professional
Qualifications
A good asphalt team member is dependable, safety-focused, comfortable with physical outdoor work, and willing to learn. Asphalt, paving, equipment, or construction experience is helpful, but reliability and work ethic matter most.
